okay so this blog is going to be talking about my experience of secret Santa with leadership. When i came in the morning, it was so early and I had Kaylyn help me bring in my tacos LOL so she knew what bag I had for my person. As I came in, nobody was in there which was the good part. 5 minutes after I set up and came in, people started coming and bringing in their gifts so I came in at a good time. Everyone brought food for everyone to eat, it was good to be honest. I had chicken katsu, Mac salad, musubi, and lumpia. I was in a rush that morning, my dad was mad I had to get the tacos last minute): so I had a frustrating morning but the day turned out good itself. As I wait for the Christmas tree to be filled with gifts underneath, I got more excited as someone brought in there gift for a person. When it finally came to lunch, we realized we were missing a person in the activity, it was Taven. Since we're missing someone, that means someone isn't getting their gift on that day. As everyone was passing out their gifts, my secret Santa was Kaylyn (: I was so happy to receive it because I relieved Taven wasn't my secret Santa LOL. Thank you Kaylyn again ! It actually brought a big smile to my face even though I knew what I was gonna get, idk why. But as it came to the last person to give someone their gift, it was me LOLOL. It was only Petriese and hope left, I could tell Petriese was hoping she didn't have Taven as her secret Santa lmbu, she said the funniest things. As I grabbed my gift, I went over to Petriese to make her think I was her secret Santa when I was really hope's. Hope was so happy she got up so fast and started hugging me so right and saying thank you repeatedly. It felt good getting someone something LOL. I would want to do this activity again in the future. Thank you my leadership family for making December 17th memorable (((:
Highlight would be receiving my gift lol. I was so happy Kaylyn was my secret Santa, i was so relieved when she put it in front of me. I started freaking out and thinking Taven would be mine but it wasn't. It got to the point where I needed to pee in the middle of the activity 😂ðŸ˜bwahaha, but I held it in. It was such a fun thing to do, I think we should do similar stuff like this often. I got 2 gifts cards by the way(: one Starbucks and one iTunes card, ive been wanting them both for a very long time! So I was so glad. Thank you so much Kaylyn ! This is like my 5th time telling you thank you LOL.
Lesson learned is to be greatful for the smallest things that you get and cherish moments more. I don't usually like big presents but I know it makes me smile knowing how big it is lol, when I got those gift cards I realized I don't need any big gifts or expensive gifts to please me, it's the thought that counts. I also learned to cherish moments more, that small amount of time we were with each other made me realize that type of things like that needs to be appreciated more. We don't know when we'll see each other again so let's appreciate each other more than we should no matter if we don't get along. glad to have these great people in my life((((((:
