My very first week of leadership

I've been to leadership for two days so far and I enjoyed going to it. The first day of leadership, I got to clean out the snack room in A101, I was so disgusted about how much roaches was inside but I managed to tolerate it. The group I was with for the day contained three people which was Cheana, Joylyn and of course me. During the process of cleaning, I had a small conversation with Joylyn and I learned she use to go to Ewa Beach Elementary, she's such a nice girl and I'll try to talk to her more. That same day, I was helping Cheana and Joylyn rinse out the cubbies that the previous fellows of leadership that graduated and returnees used, we witnessed three ladybugs on/near the cubbies. Cheana told me ladybugs gives you good luck so that was basically the highlight of my day and something new for me because I had no idea that ladybugs gives you good luck. Anyways, the second day of leadership was more chill than Tuesday's. We cleaned up a little and I got to see my two best friends that didn't show up on Tuesday so I was glad they showed up on Wednesday. I helped Cheana clean up the MAC computers and the table where the computers stand, it was really dusty. I got see Korey though ! She's really funny and I was fortunate to see her. I remember her telling Emma & Cheana to let the Spiders live and that they deserve to, I laughed so much after she said that. Petriese called me over to walk around campus with Hope, Kaylyn, and Joylyn to take pictures of activities to represent them such as Basketball. Cheana called me over to A101 to work on my cubby tag, my name came out pretty nice in my opinion but I still have to work on it .-. I can't wait to finish it. I was really lucky I reunited with some of my friends that are 7th grade going onto 8th grade because I haven't seen them in about two years. I went to 2/3 days of leadership that week, on that one day I wasn't there was because I was packing to get ready to go to camping for 4th of July with my family.

Highlight of my week would have to be going camping with my in-laws and my siblings. We got to eat seafood that my brother-in-law and my Uncle Max caught from the beach by the beach house we were camping by. I got to go paddle boarding with my siblings and my cousin, it really kept me busy and I'm really interested in this sport so me and older sister might join this fall. At night we got to play volleyball, I didn't want to play because I was embarrassed how people would think I play but my brother's girlfriend taught me how to play so that was really beneficial. My brother's girlfriend told me I have a body of a volleyball player and that I should play volleyball when season comes. Then we went crab hunting, we didn't catch that many crabs but it was a fun activity to do with my siblings and we got to look at the stars, looking at the stars was breath taking ! I really love camping with my family because we get to bond more.

I learned to not be afraid to make new friends even though we have so much differences. This past week I learned so much from everyone, it was nice getting to know everyone. Being isolated from everyone in leadership isn't a good idea because you'll be cooperating with eachother for the whole school year. So I learned to put aside my "shy" trait and make new friends.
