school year finishing rapidly ๐Ÿ˜จ

*SORRY FOR THE DELAY OF THE BLOG I HAD NO WIFI LAST NIGHT*
This week was filled with stress and sacrifices tbh. I hated my even periods this week, I didn't even wana come school on the days I wasn't feeling well. So, Tuesday was the day that we were collecting graduation forms, although the other 7th grade officers barely collected forms they were able to count the money and input the forms into the electronics. Not only did I work grad. forms but I did IDs, that was boring tbh. but anyways I'll talk about the periods. Monday-5136, Tuesday-6241, Wednesday-135, Thursday-246, Friday-3512. during AVID (1), we did mini debated called "itsy bitsy". during math (2), we learned about negative and positive extended number problems. during science (3), we worked on our biome project, again! during social studies (4), we worked on our projects and shared them. during leadership (5), we usually had study hall. during English (6), we did our monologue and shared it.

highlight of my week would be going to awards night. awards night was a very nice experience to get recognized for 3 things I did throughout my 7th grade year I have participated, which was track, bowling, and leadership. although I left my award at Hope's house, ugh, I can't wait to show my parents on Tuesday when I'll get it. My job at awards night was working pins so I had to pass it out to those who are 8th graders and have earned pins for an activity. This was the firsts event I got ready ready as in curling hair and etc, I felt pretty LOL ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I really liked my hair.

lesson learned would be to persevere. you need to fail to succeed, the more you persevere, you'll more likely achieve the goals you set for yourself. Stay humble and hopeful because they'll be times when you have your low points and high points in life. but don't let anything interfere your route to your success.

almost the end of the school year

wow, days are going by so fast. I'm so stoked for summer, ahhhh. but anyways, sorta a busy and down week for me. Monday's periods were 6245, Tuesday-2461, Wednesday-351, Thursday-4623, Friday-513. 1st period was AVID so we worked on our career search. 2nd period was math and we did SBAC reviews. 3rd period was science and we worked on our biome project that's due at the end of the quarter. 4th period is social studies and we did our research and worked on our project a little in class. 5th period is leadership and we basically had free time or study hall. 6th period is English and we did our testing for the government and watched movies. short week I guess, not many things that we did in class. we had period mix-ups so we had 2 even days instead of odd and even. On Friday, me and chad went home early to get ready for banquet and we went there and finished at 9 ish. ran into some miserable days during this week but I pulled through.

highlight of my week would be going to banquet. although it wasn't my banquet, I did enjoy taking pictures there and being able to experience how it'll be for my banquet next school year. got to see some very extreme transformations like Jah's and Jayde's, they looked so different compared to in school and at banquet. but everyone did look gorgeous and handsome that night. talk to some people that I never talked in awhile so it was nice catching up and sharing some thoughts with some old friends before they graduate. busy night and had really good food that I never had in awhile, I only had island food hahaha. stoked for my banquet.

lesson learned would be to solve things in a different matter if the situation getting nowhere. don't make that final step if it's the LAST option to do, unfortunately I didn't think out my actions and made that choice to leave somebody when I realized it was a mistake. cherish people and their company instead of giving them the impression of fakeness, and appreciate moments while they last, you never know when they'll be your last time doing it. think carefully about your actions and realize what the benefit of that is.

bomb af week

This week went by sorta fast but had the desire for it to end eagerly, fortunately. This weeks period's were, Monday-2463, Tuesday-3514, Wednesday-462, then we had a field trip on Thursday so marjority of the 7th grade went Ice palace, the periods that day was 513 and Friday had a mix of periods so the periods were 1635. This week's job for my period was IDs, of course barely any new students came for us to show around. But me, Emma, and Jenaya still had the job to collect graduation money. 1st period, we did our career search and we're doing a project later on about it to talk further information about it. 2nd period, we did our star math test and we did a math problems about tiles in classrooms. 3rd period, we worked on our Biome Project throughout the whole class time during the week. 4th period, we learned more about Micronesia, Polynesia and Melanesia, and we did research on the island we're assigned to present to the class. 5th period, we usually had free time or we finished up counting the money for graduation. 6th period, we had SBAC again and watched a movie after.

highlight of my week would be going to Ice Palace. On Thursday, there was 7th grade class day and majority of the leadership class went. I really enjoyed spending time with almost everyone in 7th grade, we all had fun skating. I even got closer to some people that I didn't even imagine getting close to. Plus, it was my first time back in a long time since I went and I struggled at first but I managed to skate by myself at the ending LOL. everyone helped me out by holding my hand and guiding me on the ice. I didn't expect it to be that cold inside because I was freezing, and thank you to Mr. Barayuga for buying us pizza when some of us didn't eat. the pizza was so good and I didn't realize how cold I was until I ate the pizza because the pizza was hot of course.

lesson learned would be don't worry. don't worry about the little things that shouldn't matter because it'll just aggravate you and irritate the living shiz outta you. don't get too jealous over something that you know isn't worth your time. stop making nonsense things get in the way of your happiness, life is swell and we should all worry less. Think more positive and be more happy because life is too short to be wasted on unnecessary things, too much negativity in this world must be distinguished.

2nd orientation

*SORRY FOR THE DELAYS OF MY BLOG* this is the 2nd orientation blog I'll be talking about. in this blog I'll be introducing to you the differences about blog #1 and #2. for the first orientation I ever had was the bestest performance I ever did in front of the audience out of the other one. I was speaking fluently with no nervousness and actually enjoyed it for the first one. the group I took on a tour for the orientation was way more quiet than my 2nd orientation group. also, when we went on tours, it was more crowded than the 2nd time. for my tours I had, the 1st one was the shortest I had. that orientation went smoothly. the 2nd orientation was longer than I expected it to be. my group was way talkative and constantly asking me questions about the school than my first group I had. sorta stumbled across my words a little but was able to improvise. and I talked way more on the tour than the first time and got interesting questions that I never thought of. and there was more students that appeared at the 2nd orientation than the 1st one. the tour was not that quick than I thought it was, most of the kids had questions about each stop or whatever when I covered all the things that they needed to know. this tour was less crowded than the first and I was able to find more space to introduce the stops along ilima. so if I were to compare them in a few words, I would say that the 1st orientation was less hectic than the 2nd orientation.

if I were to say what we could've changed about the orientation was the set up of the tour. the tour was too crowded and maybe if we doubled up some groups and put 1-2 more leadership people in the tour for each group then the group would be feel more comfortable. and if we added more leadership people to the group to guide, one of them could answer questions that the other tour guide person wouldn't know. so we could use each other as a resource. but not only that, the way we had to change a lot got me stressed out because what if one of us forgot to bring one of our requirements that was important, how are we going to improvise last minute not knowing how to cover it? we got to think of the other outcomes that we wouldn't think of and shouldn't always depend on one person to get something or require something knowing that person shouldn't be depended on. I would've also wanted to ask questions to my group and see how they felt to get feedback to improve the way we set up the whole thing.

things I liked about the orientations was taking the kids on the tour cause now some of them can have an idea of what type of people are at ilima and will increase the population at our school. that can be an advantage. but not only that, we had a fashion show that entertained the audience. I'm sure that made it the highlight of the visit cos we basically made fools of ourselves LOL but also interesting what different cultures wear. things I didn't like was that it was too crowded on the tour and we didn't really time to get ready and prepare before so that we wouldn't mess up and also had a small room to get ready which would make some of us feel isolated.

busy weekkkk

*DIDNT HAVE MY PLANNER, LEFT IT AT MY FRIEND'S ON FRIDAY. ONLY GOT IT THIS MORNING* wow, this week was busy of orientation and forms being passed out. glad we're done practicing cause I need extra time with my friends since leadership is being "greedy" with me and I'm trying to keep up with my work and I got into an argument with Mrs. wert about me "making excuses", I just didn't have time to work on my project. not many people have time in one day to accomplish something. but anyways, I'll explain the periods for this weeks. Monday-5136, Tuesday-6241, Wednesday-135, Thursday-246, Friday-3512. 1st period (AVID), we worked on our debate for Vampire bats and TRF. TRF is tutorial request form. 2nd period (MATH), we worked on review of proportions and unit rates to prep for the SBAC. 3rd period (SCI), we did cornell notes on transferring of energy, and the interactions of animals with each other. 4th period (SS) we did our CFA and practiced for primary and secondary sources and worked on our islands of Micronesia. 5th period (LEADERSHIP), we practiced for orientation and took out unnecessary trash out of A101 and had free time. 6th period (ENG) we had SBAC and did our CFA.

highlight of my week would be going to a volleyball game last night with one of my closest friends that I barely see now due to school priorities. she decided to take me because she knows I'm into sports, especially watching them and that she knows we can catch up on things that we never talked about. it was so good seeing them play, my favorites are Pono #21, Kolby #6, Taylor #13, Scott #3, Davis #24, and Brooks #11. after they played we got to go up close and say hi to most of them and one of them kissed my cheek while majority just hugged me really tight. I got majority of their autographs and pictures, it was so nice seeig them play. and brooks proposed to his girlfriend! I got to witness everything since it was "senior night", omg. I cried so much. I'm totally going to the next upcoming game.

lesson learned was to be positive and don't let things get to you ๐Ÿ‘. always find the happy thing out of the negative thing, say as an insult like "you're ugly", it's just their way of saying "you're really beautiful" because they're jealous of what you have that they don't. and if they say "you really suck at playing..." take that as feedback to improve from what you did was wrong. always think positive of things and feel happy cos we don't have time to be wasting our emotions on certain things that shouldn't matter because we're young. just be free.

KOLBY #6 ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
PONO #21 ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

SCOTT #3 ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
WHEN TAYLOR WAS SIGNING MY PICTURE #13 THE CAPTAIN OMG ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ญ

1st orientation

recently, the fellow leadership students performed at the orientation and was able to do each job with quality. This was the first orientation of the 7th graders that got to perform in front of the upcoming 7th graders to Ilima. the first person to speak was Jahlyssa and she got to do the intro and introduce the class officers and the new principal of Ilima Intermediate and explain how she felt about being an upcoming 7th grader. the second person to say a few words about the school was Lori and she introduced the current 6th graders basically about registration day and what they'll be expecting when they get settled in as they register themselves. the third person was Kaylyn, and she got to explain what ISA was about and the sports and also shared her experience as a ISA athlete. the fourth person was Emma, and she shared about ACE (uplink) and got to share her experiences as one of the ACE athletes of ilima. after Emma, majority of everyone was changed and was able to go out and select who they'll be taking on a tour. the tour would be sorta rushed and some people need to learn how to make space for other groups and consider realizing that all of us needs to finish our tours with quality and able to give the students an understanding. i managed to share everything with my group and was able to talk about what they needed to know. after the tour, we were going to introduce the bell schedule. Jayde was speaking for the bell schedule making her the fifth person speaking at the orientation, she explained what the upcoming 7th graders will be expecting to go to school about their schedule. for the sixth speaking at the orientation, it was me. I was speaking for the Fashion show, I explained what is required and what if fine or not okay for school. hopefully most of the students payed attention instead of laughing and talking during the presentation, cos it's very important for them to understand the uniform and dress code policy allowed at school. one boy asked about something that I went over already so it makes me worried if they even payed attention. as I briefly explained each thing that they needed to know, I was successfully to speak fluently and have no problems with stuttering this time realizing that it's time for the BIG thing. finally, the last speaker would be Cheana. Cheana was the closing of the orientation which means she went over a few things that was important for them to know when coming to ilima and was able to be pleasant about their welcome here. that's all that happened basically at the orientation.

highlight of the whole orientation would be speaking at the fashion show for the upcoming seventh graders at Ilima. I learned new things about myself that I thought I couldn't do which was showing my confidence and responsibility to not only the students but Mr. ing. throughout the orientation, the fashion show was the most entertaining that happened that amused them in my opinion because that was where I saw them mostly laugh and smile at the creativity we put together as one.  I enjoyed it the most throughout the orientation because everybody got to dance and I got to speak for every part of the presentation to present the requirements or what's okay for school or not okay for school. I'm hoping that everyone got the central idea of the fashion show because I put so much effort into practicing late at some nights to get the speaking down for everyone to understand me, I even practiced in front of my friends for me to feel comfortable.

Glo 1: I was a self directed learner because I was able to practice the face routines with my group and was able to practice on my own to memorize the speaking part of the fashion show
Glo 2: I was a community contributor because when it came to working with a group, I participated in everything such as dancing altogether and practiced with everyone with the speaking.
Glo 3: I was a complex thinker because when I stumbled across a problem such as forgetting what to say which speaking,  I managed to improvise and substitute it with something similar.
Glo 4: I was able to be a quality producer because I managed to speak briefly without messing up during the real event and show my effort from all the other practices.
Glo 5: I was able to communicate clearly when I shared my ideas, everyone was able to understand it and asked questions if they had any concerns and I managed to have an answer for them.
Glo 6: I was an effective and ethical user of technology because I was able to work with technology, I was using a headset mic that I used during the orientation and managed to turn it on and how to use it and set it up appropriately for myself.

lesson learned would be don't be afraid and conquer the impossible. don't be afraid of something that puts you in the "shadow". In order to get rid of that shadow you have to shine some light on it which means find a solution that can solve your issue with a certain thing. be confident in what you do and always think positive and think that you can do more than what you think you can do. conquer those doubts that you have in mind about something because it's a barrier for you in life that prevents you from doing the beyond which is why you need to do the impossible. nothing is impossible if you make it possible. make a change to your lifestyle and live more thrilling with no regrets or doubts.

if were to change anything about this orientation, I think I would have to take more brief pauses between my paragraphs and make more eye contact with the younger students. eye contact is always the key because it gives them your focus and demonstration on what needs to spread out there. also, taking brief pauses helps them process the information in their head in order to understand what is okay for school and not okay for school.

second week of 4th quarter

laaaame title for this blog. very busy week with practicing orientation, ahh. variations things happened this week and I'm trying to multitask ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. but anyways, this week was short like usual and there was no school on Friday because of Good Friday. here's the periods, Monday-1354, Tuesday-2465, Wednesday-351, Thursday-462. for orientation, I'm the narrator and I didn't work this week cos I'm I'm charge of collecting grad. forms and passing out banquet and 7th grade class day. 1st period (AVID), we did our CFA #4 and binder check. 2nd period (MATH), we did our CFA #4 and unit rates review. 3rd period ( SCI), we did transfer of energy and did our test on it. 4th period (SS), we did our CFA and worked on 3 parts and details. 5th period (LEADERSHIP), we did orientation practice all week. 6th period (ENG), all we did was SBAC.

highlight of my week would be on Good Friday! on Good Friday I got to go to pearls with Cheana, Kaya, and Keaho. as soon as we got there, we had a snack and then we went to watch Fast 7. Fast 7 was so sad at the end, I want to watch it again! missing Paul Walker at the moment. after that we just walked around and had long af' conversations with each other until the mall was going to close. and then we headed to Cheana's and slept over except Keaho. it was such a fun night, it would be a night to remember because I never really went to pearls with my friends and actually had fun going there. hoping that we'll have another day like this ๐Ÿ™

lesson learned would be to forgive others and their mistakes. forgive others because you don't know what it'll mean for you in the future, let that person have closure. no matter what they done to you, forgive them so they won't spend their life with the greatest impact that'll change their lives. but always make careful decisions to those who deserve it because some may take advantage of you and tell you "sweet" lies and won't mean what you are to them. remove negativity from your life and replace it with positivity.
