4 day week of school for mere

so I didn't go to school on Monday because of the storm but I didn't go on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. this week my period for leadership had to work for CCTV. omg, on Thursday is was hella embarrassing because after the announcements we were testing the green screen and everybody's TV were on when it was suppose to be off. so half of the school saw me dancing. but it's okay because I have confidence now ahahah. usually during leadership and home room we would work on our extra credit bio cube and shared. the bio cube was based off of Mr. Ing to share some information with the class. but other than that, me and my class in math is working on comparing real numbers and ordering them. then in social studies we finished our poster and now we're working on a worksheet about George Washington. in science, we're learning about what word means what in the space such as Astronomy. then in English we're still learning about heros so we recently watched a video based on batman to complete an assignment. overall my week went good and I was really happy surprisingly.

highlight of my week would be today at the luau because I got to spend it with my best friend and family. I'm pretty happy how my best friend got close to my family in order for me to bring her around more to places. she's really comfortable with them and my parents always ask about her now, it's like a daily routine AHAHA. hopefully more of my friends get along well with my family like  how she did.

lesson learned would be to roll with the punches. although life has obstacles, you gotta face it and conquer it to get to the place where you want to be. aim for high goals and think beyond and above. dont let anything prevent you from doing what your heart desires. go for it and accomplish it. make it a habit in the future or as you grow up to be better at finding solutions and persevering.

in my opinion, the reason we did the bio cube based off of Mr. Ing was to learn more about the way our teacher is and to apply this learning experience to future experiences. Mr. Ing has a very interesting life I know that for sure, and he shared it with us within what we asked for. each of us asked 5 questions getting back 5 responses. our leadership teacher is hard to find info about unless he shares, this would be a good time to collect the info and present it to the class while we can. it'll help us learn more about him and how to ask proper questions towards other people if we don't know the answer to. answering questions is important. and I think my class lacks in asking questions for help, so maybe this will help improve us in confidence.

Bio Cube Blog

in this assignment blog, I'll be talking about what the activity is about. first things first, the whole central idea of it is to share to the class basically about us. there's 6 sides, one of them is where our picture and names goes on to identify who it belongs to. one of the sides is background, easiest description finished since we got to share basically a short scripture of our lives. another side is significance, I have like 3 significances I'll be sharing which is God, education and family of course. we share how important it is to us and why. next we got obstacle. my obstacle I will be sharing later on is my short temper of mines, we announce what prevents us from doing what we need to do and how we can overcome it. then we got personality, in personality we share our traits. our traits is very important to share to others. I believe it's interesting to see how we portray to others than our point-of-view. and lastly we talk about is quote. we explain a quote that we admire and tell the class how it's important to us by heart. that's basically it other than you decorate it also.

what I enjoyed about this project was being able to customize it our own style and being able to know what to do from our previous school year doing this project (for 8th graders experiences). I do see my improvement from last year's bio cube to now. it has changed a lot and my best skills has excelled for the better of my organization skills. also, my lowlights I had was finishing it last minute. I procrastinated and it prevented me from turning it in when I got to work. also, some of  my paperwork got dirty so I had to leave it as is since I didn't have a backup copy.

if I were to adjust this assignment, I would make the bio cube based on someone else tbh. I'll find it really interesting and a great experience for every individual one of us to make a bio cube about anyone in the classroom. it'll be a better exercise to get to know each other all better. not only that but we get to learn things as we go over some questions. the way I'll change it is to basically assign everyone they're own person, most likely someone they barely talk to in the class to bring everyone closer as a family. also, I'll like to change the fact how many of us have the mostly the same main idea for every topic. I'll like everyone to claim their topic what they'll be talking about in the beginning instead of having things repeated, such as obstacle many people would put "drama". I'll change this by going to Mr. Ing about it and convince/persuade him into trying the new idea how we all basically get to share different things in different point-of-views.

Glo 1: I was a self directed learner because I was able to finish my work without anybody suggesting things to me and took things in the matter of my own hands
Glo 2: I was a community contributor because when it came to helping out other group members, I provided them supplies and explained where everything they needed was
Glo 3: I was a complex thinker because when a problem appeared such as the duct tape getting caught, we took it off slowly and replaced it with new tape to make it straight
Glo 4: I was able to produce quality work because I gave in all my effort I had in this project to show my improvement from last year
Glo 5: I was able to communicate clearly when I shared any projects/work by speaking specifically for the other person to hear me.
Glo 6: I was an effective and ethical user of technology because I was able to work the technology that was given to me to work on, I made sure I was doing everything right on the technology like printing out my writing for my bio cube

reunion weekkkkk

okay so wow, this was a really hyped up week. few of the things I struggled with was making mistakes on the ID envelope, AGAIN. ugh. I'm never cautious in what I do so I should start. you already got the hint my period for leadership was working for the ID's. other than that, leadership reunion was this week and it was honestly the best thing that happened because it contained so much laughter and smiles, even tears to be heartfelt. looking back at all the memories  at what they did was really amazing to come and think about how I'll see myself in that position for the next 2 years or so. being in leadership is such an amazing experience and an honor to be accepted into this elective. it's not an average class you have, it's way different tbh. leadership is my favorite class to get away from all the normal typa shii. I learned so much and im open to new things. other than leadership, we finished our map quizzes finally and moving onto the states and capitals for now, it's for SS so don't even ask me how I'm surviving 😴😴. in math, same old angerbra basics such as cubed root and so on. with English, same thing with springboard and passages that give us a different vision. also with science, we're getting more into what we need to learn such as the metric system. it does require some math but not anything too hard in my honest opinion. only 4 days of school so cheers to the weekend.

highlight of my week would be the reunion. I already talked a lot about it in my summary but I learned valuable memories. honestly, the senior class sounded so fun to have, I wish my class would be like that. it's so fun but you gotta put a lot of effort into what we do in that class. no playing around. but playing around a little won't do much harm ahh? lol nahhh, I don't wana get yelled at. I'm ready to experience very emotional, memorable things. like no matter what happens, leadership family will always be family. I almost cried during the reunion.

lesson learned, never forget what shaped you. it's very important to acknowledge what helped you become what you are today. without what happened in the past, you wouldn't be where you are right now. for the worse or the better, you're still living and is blessed. thank god every minute of your life for giving you a chance to experience life.

3rd week? idc

k so this week has got me having ups and downs lately, been struggling doing some new responsibilities I have to take over and I gotta remind myself not to give up. Perseverance is very important to me, once I start something I have the need to finish it. but anyways, school related my period for leadership had the job for music. music was okay and went smoothly but ran into some difficulties of the volume how the person was talking softly. I had to remind my group members the assignments that were due and needed to be completed. classes were hella hot today, I hate sweating every single day!!!! and they're saying to open upstairs windows open overnight?! are they kidding me?! have they not notice the many occurrences how people would steal stuff? that's on them. even a 8th grader knows how stupid and idiotic it is to do that. it won't do any justice. in math, we learned some new computer inputting hw type of thing, it was difficult but I got used to it. social studies, we still had to finish our tests and some of our storyboard work. science was a science level to see where we're at, small kine hard at the end tbh. questions were confusing af. English was boring like always and we went over some hero acts and definitions. avid (diva), we had philosophical chairs and a lot of writing  for this week.

highlight of this week would be celebrating my older brother's belated birthday that was on the 9th of August. he came down to visit so we're tryna enjoy the time while he's here and his company, I missed him a lot. he's my closest brother I ever had and no matter what happened in the past he did to me that was dirty, I'll still love that sucker. my main goal is to enjoy his company here before he leaves again and who knows when I'll ever see him again this year. he came down all the way from Cali

lesson learned would be, persevere in what you started. once you start something, you should finish it. in my opinion, you shouldn't be giving up regardless. aim for the goal you need to accomplish and have the pride in yourself to say "I made it". victory is satisfying to me. you get what you earn, the end of what you're doing will do you good and it'll be worth it. so wait on and continue in what you do.

2nd blogggg

*SORRY FOR THE DELAY, I DIDN'T HAVE ACCESS TO MY PHONE*
this whole week was full of laughter and a little bit of irritation tbh. I'm just glad I survived this week without breaking down. But I do want to appreciate my teachers for being easy this week and letting us barely do anything to relax and process everything back into our head. I do wish that one of my odd periods was my evens because 1st period and 5th period are my best classes and 3rd period is my strict one. ugh. whatever, I do like my classes tho, the people in it isn't as irritating like my last classes. I think I'll have an easy year to finish off, although I am struggling with reminding myself about homework. my biggest class period is 4 I think, it's my algerbra class and we finally picked our period name (Algerbruhh Alphas). while I'm learning about American History in social studies, I have a test already coming up this Monday's which means I gotta study because I can't stand getting a bad grade on the easiest section of the map. Surprisingly I'm not as bored as I use to be in English, it actually got interesting with one of my closest friends in there with me. I have Emma in all my even periods so I feel comfortable because I can actually not feel left out from all the other kids. but my avid class *cough cough* I meant DIVA, is more quiet than my last year DIVA class period which sucks because it was the reason why I stayed in avid tbh so I could enjoy doing my work while being surrounded with good company that encouraged me to do my best. and my science class is so iffy omg, ugh. the new teacher is too uptight and she can't just let loose, but we do get to do fun stuff in there. this week my leadership period worked on CCTV and afterschool sales. all intros were made throughout the week and was burned on time, even on the last minute notices.

highlight of my week would have to be going to boba cafe afterschool throughout the whole week with my friends, it's like our cruise spot before Campbell kids come because they just make it really crowded. it's the only place where I can actually see everybody that I call family. Although this week has been sorta stressful, it's a major stress reliever hanging over there with good vibes. I surround myself with positivity like I told myself to do like a long time ago LOL so im trying to start now since I found the right people.

lesson learned of the week would be not to procrastinate. don't procrastinate because you'll pay for the consequences later on, always keep a daily reminder and make time for the important things you have to do in your life to be successful whether it deals with education or not. you can't accomplish your goals by lacking with your responsibilities. strive on negativity and you'll be unstoppable. this whole world is filled with large amounts of bullshit tbh, we all complain about it so let's make a change and add some smiles into this misery world.
