excuse the delay of this blog, I have this habit of forgetting important things that are not reminded to me daily. anyways, the first week of summer workdays went smoothly tbh. Although I didn't come on the first day, I manage to make it for the rest of the days as I scramble for a ride to leadership. I finally got to meet the new 7th graders that we'll be dealing with for the rest of the school year. it happens to be that I have Arianne and Kaitlyn in my group, counting Kaya as a new member recently. First I believe we worked on the bulletin boards within 1.5 days and then we organized the supplies to the correct places. then we cleaned the cubbies out and decided to work on the cubby tags. Me and Chad of course got to settle into our new desks that we'll have for the rest of the school year, I did find some extra useful supplies I'll get to use. but other than us settling in before schedule pick-up, we started working on banners and then we taught the students how to make an intro and IDs. so far, everything has been going good.
highlight of my week would be going to boba cafe with a few of them. it's a new place where we can cruise at during break and we can finally enjoy boba drinks that we never really had around ewa other than at pearl's by Safeway. the drinks take long but it's worth the wait, I usually get watermelon with mini boba also with some ice cream. watermelon actually tastes good but it's really pink when you see the drink, almost like strawberry.
lesson learned would be to collaborate better. as we collaborate more as a team, we'll get things done way faster than its suppose to be and in my opinion things have been going hella good. I'm glad so far we've been getting along althogether.
